Musings accepts blog-style contributions related to antiquity. Accepted topics include but are not limited to the history, art, philosophy, architecture, culture, religion, languages and/or literature of the Ancient Mediterranean. 

Accepted formats include:

• Fiction writing

• Critical reviews

• Essays

• Poetry

• Opinion pieces

• Original translations

• Visual art

Creative formats not listed are subject to approval by the editorial board. We typically do not publish submissions which are over 3000 words. Please cite all sources using Chicago style. Direct all questions to the Musings email at musingsucsd@gmail.com.
